Tour #32: Day in St. Augustine

Once the tour bus drops you off at the Visitor’s Center, you are on your own for the day. While your tour price includes a ticket for the Hop-on/Hop-off Trolley, you should also plan on lots of walking as this is very much a pedestrian city. St. Augustine is the oldest city in the U.S. It is also the former Headquarters of the Florida East Coast Railway and the Flagler Hotel empire. There are many historic sights related to Henry Flagler, founder of the railroad and the key person that opened up Florida for development and tourism. There is so much to do in St. Augustine, one day is not enough.

One-way Driving time: ½ - ¾ hour.
