Restaurants of your Choice

You may walk, Lyft, Uber, Water Taxi and/or Skyway Express, or take the hotel shuttle to these restaurants. There are many more to choose from, which to pick, but these are some of the local favorites.

Avondale - a short drive from the hotel, this area of Jacksonville has beautiful homes, many in the Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie Style Architecture. The shopping area is about 4 blocks long and contains many nice restaurants including The Brick, Biscotti's, Mo Jo’s BBQ, seafood, etc.

bb’s - a casual restaurant with great food and even better desserts. (Water Taxi and walk)

Bearded Pig - Great local BBQ. Located on the South Bank near San Marco. Sit outside on the patio/backyard and enjoy the evening while sipping on a local craft beverage. (Water Taxi, walk or hotel shuttle)

Chart House - upscale steak and seafood in very unique architecture. (Water Taxi from hotel)

Clark’s Fish Camp - a Jacksonville landmark. The restaurant contains the largest privately-owned collection of taxidermy in the world. In addition to classic southern seafood, Clark’s also serves gator, quail, and other game meats, plus their signature 36 and 48 oz. prime rib! (Lyft, Uber or drive)

Palm Valley Fish Camp - the seafood in town, but a bit of a drive from the hotel. (Drive, Lyft or Uber)

Ragtime Tavern at the Beach - New Orleans style seafood and a great micro-brewery on the premises. Will have live music in the bar and a big crowd of all ages. Ask for a downstairs table next to the salt water aquarium. (Drive, Lyft or Uber)

Riverside/5 Points - Just southwest of Downtown around the river. A hip, artsy neighborhood with multiple food and entertainment options (and lots of character). Eateries include Hawkers, and Corner Taco (for the diehard taco/fusion lovers), Hoptinger (for German sausage and beer garden enthusiast, including a rooftop area), Mossfire (local Southwestern fare), Black Sheep (upscale farm-to-table restaurant with a rooftop bar), River and Post (a new establishment featuring a first-level fine dining restaurant and a rooftop bar with an outstanding river view on the 11th floor), and many more!

San Marco Square - a short drive from the hotel, this area of Jacksonville has more than a dozen restaurants and cafés from which to choose. Favorites include: Bistro Aix, European Street Cafe, Grape and Grain Exchange, Square One, and Taverna.

Sweet Pete's (Downtown): is one of the largest and nicest candy stores you ever saw and includes a nice café featuring organic and natural foods.
