and Department 56 Annual Gathering


The 66th National Convention of the Train Collectors Association (TCA) and Department 56 Annual Gathering will be held at the Hyatt Regency - Jacksonville Riverfront. The hotel is located at 225 East Coastline Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32202.

On Friday and Saturday, June 26-27, 2020, the public and TCA members not registered to attend the convention are welcome to attend selected activities. These include the Marketplace where toy trains and related items (accessories, railroadiana, etc.), as well as Department 56 items are bought and sold. The entry fee to the Train Marketplace is $10 per family, (two adults and dependent children), for one or two days. The public is also invited to visit the displays of operating train and Department 56 layouts, and attend a variety of seminars included with the admission price.

The Marketplace is open to the public from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday. The operating train layouts are available for viewing during convention week. The Marketplace is open to registered TCA members from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday.

Should you wish to attend other convention activities available only to TCA members, you are invited join the Train Collectors Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to sharing the rich history of model railroading and toy trains.
