Thursday, Friday and Saturday, our hotel halls will be filled with public displays and layouts for everyone to enjoy. The Train Marketplace will be in the Garden Pavilion and will be open Friday and Saturday to buy, sell or trade toy trains. TCA members registered for the convention will have “early bird” access to the marketplace on Friday and Saturday at 9:00 AM. The general public will also have an opportunity to purchase admission to the marketplace at 10:00 AM on Friday and Saturday.
As is customary, there will be a silent auction at the welcome party consisting of one-of-a-kind items, including prototype and preproduction models.
On Saturday morning, for the first time in TCA history, we are holding an auction with de-accessed items from the TCA Museum. There will be up to 100 lots of wonderful toy trains and accessories auctioned off by Greg Stout.
Of course, there will be the final live auction following dinner at the Saturday night banquet, again by Greg Stout.
